March 19, 1998

• Added a photo to the front page of the Skydiving section of Charles Leeuwenburg and two friends skydiving
• Added a story to the Life section about one of the times Mother Nature spoke to me
• Added a story to the Life section about how climbing Mount Fuji changed Eric's life
• Changed the format of the Life section
• Made some minor cosmetic changes

March 17, 1998

• Added April Walters' first AFF skydive story
• Added a photo of five people diving out of a helicopter to the skydiving front page
• Added some information about world record attempts to the Data page in the Skydiving section
• Added short stories to the front pages of the Skydiving, SCUBA Diving, and White Water Rafting sections
• Added a section called Life which contains some philosophical musings
• Added more quotes to the Quotes page in the Skydiving section
• Added an image preload function that will cut down on wait times for photos
• Removed the skydiving photo from the homepage and added a collage of various adventure photos
• Changed the wording of the homepage just a little
• Changed the basic look of the site

• Added a few above water photos of Eric & I before and after our SCUBA dives at Halibut Point.

• Added a story about my first trip to Costa Rica.
• Removed the bookstores. (There is no reason to have a commercial section if no one is interested in it.)
• Removed the weekly site reviews. Finding new sites was too time consuming.

September 26, 1997

• Added a Style Guide to my Webmaster's Guide. The Style Guide includes a page containing the 216 standard browser colors.
• Since there are so many HTML guides on the web, I decided not to finish writing mine. Therefore, I deleted my Basic HTML page and replaced it with an HTML page that links to a few existing guides.

• Added a story about our first two SCUBA dives at Halibut Point in Rockport, MA.

• Changed the format of the menu.
• Added a version of the site with frames for those people who enjoy frames.

• Added a discussion about Telnet to the Internet Users Guide.

• Added the Webmaster's guide. It is currently just the basics, but over the next several weeks it will be expanded to include much more advanced information.
• Added bookstores to a few sections of this site.

• Added Joyce & Egils' stories and photos of their treks through Norway.
• Changed the name of the Journeys section to Expeditions, this does not affect any URLs.

• Added lots of photos to my stories about my first trip to Europe.
• Added a few photos to my White Water Rafting trip down the Deerfield River story.
• Added an X-Ray in my story about my ski jumping accident.
• Added links to Pepperell Skydiving Center on several pages (Costs of skydiving, My AFF skydiving stories, and my links page).
• Added a link to Skydive Orange on my links page.
• Removed the session numbers from the URLs (old bookmarks and links with session numbers will still function correctly).

• Added a discussion about FTP to the Internet Guide for Newbies.
• Added a discussion about Usenet Newsgroups and Netiquette to the Internet Guide for Newbies.
• Added a discussion about Spam (including the Monty Python sketch) to the Internet Guide for Newbies.

• Added a collection of information designed to assist people new to the internet. It will grow over time. Hopefully some people will find it of use.
• Broke up the guestbook into multiple pages. It was getting way too long to keep as one page.

August 23, 1997

• Added the Contents page which includes a description of each section in this site.
• Added the Tour page which is just a description of the existing tour at this site and an explaination of how to use it.
• Added the box at the bottom of each page with the random tip or quote.
• Took the Web Interoperability Pledge and added that icon below the menu on each page.
• Added the "Best Viewed With Any Browser" icon below the menu on each page.
• Made a few minor editting changes.
• Since all these changes are merely cosmetic, I did not send an email to the What's New mailling list.

August 21, 1997

• Adjusted the site to display much better on text-only browsers.
• Moved a bunch of text and photos around, added a little text, and deleted a little text in an attempt to make the site flow a little better. These changes did not add or delete any real content.
• Added the "Top of this page" links at the bottom of every page.
• Added text behind each image that was missing it (though I didn't bother with the slideshow images).
• Since all of the changes I made this evening were cosmetic, I did not bother sending an email to the What's New mailling list.

August 20, 1997

• Added a story about my medical adventures (a bad ski jumping accident and the road to recovery).
• Added a listing of all previous reviews within my Site of the Week section. They are listed with the most recent at the top.
• Reformatted the navigation. I got rid of the navigation tables at the bottom of each page and designed a new navigation bar in the left border of each page.
• Changed the color scheme again.
• Moved the text of the About this Site page to my homepage. That made the About this Site page obsolete, so I removed all links to it.

• Added my story about white water rafting the Deerfield River in western Massachusetts.
• Added my stories about two SCUBA dives at Back Beach in Rockport, MA.
• Added Kier Williams' story about his first skydive from a jet.

• Corrected my comments about the static-line method of learning to skydive.
• Updated the Thanks and About Me pages to include the new stories.

• Restructured the entire site, including new methods for navigating.
• Added automatic redesign depending on browser type (this feature will be expanded in the future).
• Added the Slide Show for visitors using WebTVs.
• Removed the Graffiti Wall and replaced it with my new GuestBook.
• Removed the various "Free-For-All" link pages, replacing them with The Adventurous Site of the Week and a Cool Links page.
• Removed the calendars.
• Removed the URL-Minder forms, and replaced them with my own mailing lists.
